Takoma Violin offers group and private lessons in the "Master Class" atmosphere in the private home studio. Our instructor, Mr. Rafael Javadov, is a professional violinist with over 30 years of teacher, educator and performer experience. Mr. Javadov has a professional music degree in violin and piano.

Mr. Javadov is well-known in the professional musician community. He has performed at such venues as The Kennedy Center, Strathmore, World Trade Center, presidential inauguration galas for two previous presidents and more. He loves to share his passion for music and help young music students on their musical journeys. Apart from giving private lessons at his home studio, he teaches occasional master classes in the Metro Area, including Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore.

We employ techniques that make classes fun and engaging, and develop the love of music in our students. We constantly think of innovative ways to motivate every student!
