Mr. Rafael Javadov - artist, teacher, virtuoso
Mr. Javadov is a classically-trained Russian violinist with a Master's Degree in Violin Solo Performance, Orchestral Performance and Chamber Music, and Teaching.
Mr. Javadov is also the Music Director of the EthnoWorld Orchestra. Javadov’s orchestra has performed throughout the metro DC area including at the Cherry Blossom Festival on the National Mall in 2017. The orchestra plays a range of genres including, folk music, classical pieces, popular world music with different arrangements, as well as original compositions by Mr.Javadov.
Javadov is also a pianist at the Peabody Ballet School in Baltimore, Washington School of Ballet and at the George Mason University Dance Department. He brings to his work a talent for improvisation and composition that is exemplified by the dance performed by the GMU students to his original work which was also performed at this year’s Cherry Blossom Festival.

At his Takoma Park studio Mr. Javadov is offering lessons in violin, electric violin, and piano. Mr. Javadov brings to his lessons over thirty years experience as a violin performer: orchestra, solo, quartet and duo. He also has over twenty years of experience teaching at all levels (from beginner to virtuoso) and all ages.Mr. Javadov offers lessons grounded in the classical tradition with a focus on helping the musician establish technical mastery--comfort with sound and musical pronunciation--and an ability to balance the musician's own unique sound with a sound that is beautiful to the listener.

Biography
Violinist, Violin and Piano Instructor, Composer, Arranger. 4 and 5 strings electric / acoustic violin, acoustic or digital piano.
RAFAEL JAVADOV earned his musical education in violin and piano in Russia and Ukraine. His musical education started at the age of 5. At the age of 10 he entered a Special Tchaikovsky Music School under Moscow Conservatory. The Tchaikovsky school is considered to be one of the best music schools in the world.
From 1986-1988 Mr. Javadov was the Concertmaster of the North Pole Navy Band in Russia (City of Severomorsk).
After graduating from the Rachmaninoff Conservatory in 1994, he was a member of one of the top Ukrainian state orchestras (The Dnepropetrovsk Symphony).
In 1994, in addition to chairing a First-section Violin position in the Dnepropetrovsk Symphony, Rafael's excellent teaching and leadership abilities brought him the appointment of the music director and conductor of Dnepropetrovsk Youth Violin Ensemble "Violino". After the Youth Violin Ensemble's triumph performances throughout Russia, Ukraine and Europe in 1995, the Ensemble was offered a tour in the United States. The young musicians performed in every state from Washington, DC to Nevada. They were also offered the opportunity to perform at the US Senate in Washington, DC. After his triumph, Mr.Javadov was extended and extraordinary person status in the US and he settled in the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area.
Since 1995, Mr. Javadov has been residing in the US. In the course of his career, Mr.Javadov performed at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, numerous embassies in Washington, DC, World Trade Center, presidential inauguration events, other major stages in
Washington Metropolitan Area, including Strathmore Hall and Meyerhoff Symphony Hall, as well at the Rockefeller Center in New York. Mr. Javadov was also part of Josh Groban's US tour in September 2015.
Rafael Javadov is the Music Director of the EthnoWorld Orchestra. In March, 2017 EthnoWorld Orchestra featured violin and piano duo Rafael Javadov and Leeza Wildgen at the Cherry Blossom Festival on the National Mall in Washington, DC. The program included folk tunes, classical genres, and popular international music in different arrangements.
In addition to the classical repertoire, the orchestra performs arrangements of Russian folk themes and romances and the Mediterranean folk music, Gypsy, Jewish, American classics, and also classical music favorites.
Rafael’s musical talents are widespread, his second instrument is piano and he works as a pianist at The Washington School of Ballet and George Mason University Dance Department. He brings to his work a talent for improvisation and composition that is exemplified by the dance performed by the GMU students to his original work which was also performed at this year’s Cherry Blossom Festival.
Rafael teaches violin and piano in private sessions. He has also been invited on several occasions to instruct master classes at John Hopkins University Peabody Conservatory of Music. There he has worked with groups of young musicians - demonstrating his teaching methods, sharing his passion for music and inspiring young musicians on their musical journeys.
